About the song
Broken star, a hard rock ballad, is the 3rd Single from my EP ‘My Life’.
It talks about the struggles of a performing artist, beyond the glamour.
An artist, while pouring his heart and soul into his songs, is also trying to overcome his anxieties. The fame and success can be hard to handle, often making him resort to addictions. This leads to guilt, shame and thus more pain. He starts to feel as if he is being slowly poisoned by a snake, turning all the love to hate. He wishes to let music swallow him in. Like a meteor that shines bright before it falls, all the artist wants is to be remembered by the name, Broken Star.
